Wild Garden Time

This garden will take serious time
to plant, to grow, to find its way
A place to cherish, to reach its prime.

Marigolds and forget-me-nots call out
A row of blush roses, curve past green
This garden will take serious time

Time blurs this hidden oasis
Colours full of abandon grow wild
A place to cherish, nearing its prime.

Whatever you’ve got happening, stop here
To hell with the clock, dreams begin to play
This garden will take serious rest

Wander through avenues, lavenders blue
Wild thistles tussle, over a soursob bouquet
A place to cherish and love to full prime.

Overgrown jasmine tumbles down walls
Your wild heart deserves flowers all year round
This garden will take serious time
A place to cherish as it reaches full prime.
