Are you potty for pottery? Do you pine for fine china? Do you like supporting local artisans in fun market-style environments? Get ready to be fired up for the return of BrisStyle’s Ceramic Makers Market at the Paint Factory Yeronga on Friday November 1 and Saturday November 2.
After a cracking inaugural outing last year, BrisStyle has teamed up with Ceramic Arts Queensland for a much-anticipated second year of the markets. “We are excited to bring back the Ceramic Makers Market in partnership with Ceramic Arts Queensland,” says Eleanor Miller, events manager at BrisStyle. “This event not only supports our local ceramic artists but also enriches the community by providing a space for art lovers and creators to connect. We look forward to welcoming everyone to the Paint Factory for two days of artistic discovery and enjoyment.”
Yeronga’s historic hub, The Paint Factory, will be transformed into a bustling marketplace as more than 50 ceramic artists from across Queensland set up shop to showcase their one-of-a-kind wares. From vases to bowls, trays to mugs, decorative wall art and jewellery, a cavalcade of charming ceramic wonders will be yours for the taking. Not only will you be able to peruse and purchase unique pieces but by buying directly from local vendors and artists you can help support Queensland’s vibrant ceramic arts community.
While you pick over some perfectly poured cups, you can sip on some refreshing libations from the Market bar, or grab a bite to eat from the convoy of mouth-watering food trucks on hand to keep energy high and spirits festive throughout the two-day event.
The Ceramic Makers Market run from 4:00-9:00 pm on Friday November 1 and 9:00 am to 2:00 pm on Saturday November 2 at The Paint Factory. Find out more via the BrisStyle website.
