Inspired by the suburban food and wine and traditions of family and festivities central to Italian life, Gusto Da Gianni celebrates authentic Italian cuisine. Boasting waterfront views, this Portside Wharf institution has been a stalwart of the riverside precinct’s dining offering for more than a decade. In 2024, Gusto Da Gianni underwent a revitalisation process as part of Portside’s multi-million-dollar rejuvenation, with the restaurant scoring a sophisticated and contemporary new look, complete with fresh amenities such as a second bar, a waterfront pavilion and reimagined function spaces. In addition to the new bells and whistles, the restaurant is also serving an expanded selection of curated beverages and an all-day dining offering encompassing bites, share plates and mains – all available from lunch through to dinner. Highlights include classic bruschetta, prawn pil pil, crab and prawn sliders, olives with octopus and confit garlic, crispy pork belly with spicy sauce, and crispy chorizo and black pudding.
