Maeve Wine

Hidden behind the copper doors of the heritage-listed Queensland National Bank building, European-style wine bar Maeve Wine comes from the brains behind Hello Please. As its name might suggest, wine comes first and foremost here. The team has curated an impressive wine selection, which leans towards smaller producers and less conventional, minimal intervention drops. On the food front, head chef Jessie Stevens has created a seasonally driven menu to complement the wine selection, designed mainly to share but that can easily be consumed as a solo venture. Ideally located opposite QPAC, the Cultural Centre and neighbouring Fish Lane, Maeve encourages pre- and post-show imbibing, with the kitchen serving until late.
