The GDB Group, known for popular cafes like Deedot Coffee House and Dijon Toasties, opened Never Been in 2023 – a spacious cafe and functions venue in Underwood. Identifying a gap in Logan’s cafe scene, the GDB crew has created a modern-industrial space with 15-m ceilings, polished concrete floors, and room for up to 200 guests. Never Been’s all-day menu, crafted by head chef Jordan Shepperd, offers creative takes on brunch staples like croque madames stuffed with spaghetti bolognese, yuzu panna cotta, and jerk-chicken flatbreads, complemented by coffee from Roast by Yili, a select wine list, and cocktails. With its community-focused atmosphere, Never Been aims to become a regular go-to for locals.
