Tom’s Kitchen

In March 2025, the Thomas Dixon Centre celebrated the opening of Tom’s Kitchen – a new all-day cafe envisioned as a go-to destination for brunch bites and laid-back lunches. The menu at Tom’s Kitchen is built upon a strong foundation of seasonal and locally sourced ingredients, serving an array of house-made grab-and-go meals available alongside dine-in fare, including brekkie muffin with a longganisa pork patty, cheese, egg, hash brown and banana ketchup, guacamole on croissant toast with scrambled egg, pecorino and toasted sesame, and potato hash with smoked salmon, poached eggs and tomato bearnaise sauce. Tom’s Kitchen is also serving ST. ALi coffee. Later in the day, guests can devour lunch items including crispy fried-chicken burgers with hot honey, lettuce, pickles and garlic mayo, and cheeseburgers boasting provolone cheese, pickles, mustard, tomato sauce. Around this time a tight booze menu comes online, featuring Balter beers, three wines (one sparkling, one pinot gris and one sangiovese) and a clutch of spirits.
