Celebrated German musician, composer and producer Nils Frahm is set to bring his captivating neo-classical and electronic live show to QPAC. Nils comes to Brisbane as part of his global Music For tour, where each performance is a one-of-a-kind experience, uniquely tailored to the city.
A celebrated trailblazer, Nils has emerged at the intersection of classical and electronic music. Best known for his unconventional approaches to an age-old instruments, Nils has a profound ability to fuse ambient textures and atmospheric electronica.
With fans across the globe, Nils’ list of accolades proceed him. Beyond his 15 solo albums, seven EPs and multiple collaborative recordings, Nils also launched Piano Day, a global party to celebrate the piano. He has also worked extensively in the film industry. His first film score for Victoria, directed by Sebastian Schipper, won the German Film Prize for Best Soundtrack. He also collaborated with Woodkid on Ellis, a short film by JR featuring Robert De Niro and contributed to Ad Astra (James Gray, starring Brad Pitt) and Manifesto (Julian Rosefeldt, starring Cate Blanchett).
