Paniyiri Greek Festival

This hotly anticipated yearly event is a multi-sensory experience of mediterranean madness and smorgasbord of authentic Greek fare. The largest cultural festival in Queensland and the longest running Greek festival in the country, all ages are welcome and encouraged to visit Musgrave Park for the 2025 Paniyiri Greek Festival.

Bring the whole family down to dance the Zorba, taste Greek wines, shop the market stalls, smash a plate and enjoy a non-stop lineup of entertainment. Our personal favourite pitstop has got to be the food stalls representing 11 different Greek regions, serving everything from kataifi to keftedes, haloumi to honey puffs. Nostimo!

The year’s festival will return with everyone’s favourites, along with some exciting new additions including a special Paniyiri picnic experience. Settle down in the the exclusive VIP picnic area (with a perfect view of the main stage) on top of a Greek-themed blue and white picnic blanket to soak in the action and atmosphere as you chow down on a delicious box of authentic home-made mezze including keftethes, spanakopita, taramasalata, tzatziki, kalamata olives with Yiayia’s secret marinade, locally produced feta and, of course, pita bread.
