The Wharf Revue will be returning to the Queensland Performing Arts Centre’s (QPAC) Playhouse from February 11–16 2025 for its last show ever.

Known for its incisive and witty satire, sketches, musical numbers and parodies, The Wharf Revue has dictated itself for decades to skewering the fumbles of foibles of politicians and public figures in shows like Looking for Albanese, Pennies from Kevin and 2024’s hilarious hit Pride in Prejudice. Now, after 25 years they’re taking their final bows, but not before putting on one last side-splitting show.

Featuring pollies past and present, including Keating, Howard, Gillard, Abbott, Lambie, Hanson, Bandt, Dutton, and Albo, no side of politics is safe from ridicule in this grand goodbye. Written by Jonathan Biggins, Drew Forsythe, and Phillip Scott who also star in the show alongside Mandy Bishop and David Whitney, The Wharf Revue will go out on a high even with politics at an all-time low.

Don’t miss  this joyous yet bitter-sweet send-off to one of the great national theatrical institutions. Tickets for the final Wharf Revue season are available at the QPAC website

This event is part of the QPAC 40 program, celebrating 40 years of curiosity, inclusion, gathering and stories.
