When Claw BBQ’s King Street location cracked open last year, it treated Brisbane’s inner-city to an authentic taste of American-style sports bars, seafood shacks and barbecue halls. The menu invites meat lovers on a tour of the country’s most iconic eats from Texas-style sticky barbecue ribs and West Coast-inspired buckets of cooked-to-order shellfish to Southern-charmed fried chicken and New York-worthy burgers.
Claw BBQ has brought its love affair with American cuisine to the southside, with a brand-new barbecue joint gracing Westfield Carindale’s newly opened dining precinct, which also welcomed the likes of Betty’s Burgers, Sushi Jiro and Viet House to its midst. A prime spot to perch and indulge after a day of shopping or knock off for the week with a round of drinks, Claw BBQ’s Carindale location will be serving up all its drool-worthy dishes alongside big-screen TVs screening round-the-clock sporting entertainment and arcade games.
Break out the bibs and tuck into buckets of shellfish, pulled-beef tacos and jalapeno poppers as well as a massive selection of tap beers, kid-friendly mocktails and ice-cream shakes. For our thrill-seekers, Claw also hosts a bevy of downright deluded eating challenges that will put even the most superhuman appetite to the test.
