Lune Croissanterie has just lifted the lid on its March specials menu, giving you and your pastry-loving pals five mouth-watering reasons to pay the innovate croissant powerhouse a visit this month.
The March drop is headlined by Lune’s take on Selma – an iconic Swedish sweet bun with a centre of whipped cream and almond paste. Lune has subbed out the bun for buttery laminated pastry and filled it with cardamom-spiced almond pastry and whipped cream, before crowning it with a crunchy round of shortbread.
Passionate about pandan? You can pull apart the Coconut Pandan twice-baked croissant to reveal an indulgent filling of coconut frangipane and white-chocolate ganache. For a little campfire-inspired treat, go for the Toasted Marshmallow. The cruffin is rolled in Marie biscuit sugar, filled with chocolate-fudge sauce and a toasted-marshmallow whip, and finished with a dusting of strawberry sherbert and mini marshmallows.
The Peanut Pretzel walks a fine line between sweet and savoury – a pain au chocolat that’s twice-baked with a belly of peanut-butter frangipane and pretzel crumb, before being topped with pretzel pieces and a drizzle of peanut-butter white chocolate. If savoury is your game, don’t miss the Mushroom & Blue Cheese pastry, filled with mushroom duxelles, bechamel, sauteed mushrooms and a hit of blue cheese.
Lune’s March line-up is available now at Lune’s Fish Lane location. The City outpost only has the Peanut Pretzel and the Mushroom & Blue Cheese available.
