If Streets Beach at South Bank is for the kids, then where do the adults go to play? We want a place that screams Amalfi Coast but doesn’t include dropping a whole month’s pay-check on a plane ticket. Well, as it turns out, we’re not the only ones dreaming of this. The Star Brisbane has just unveiled a new luxury retreat called Isoletto Pool Club – and it’s sure to make a splash!

Isoletto Pool Club, The Star Brisbane’s brand-new elevated paradise is giving endless summer. Perched on the resort’s Level 7 Leisure Deck, Isoletto transports hotel guests to an Italian-inspired oasis where the cocktails flowing and the sun is always shining.

In Italian, Isoletto translates to ‘islet’ or ‘small island’ – however, after one glance at this rooftop paradise, you’ll agree there’s nothing minuscule about it! The transformative design offers panoramic vistas across the Brisbane River to South Bank, up to Mount Coot-tha and beyond.

The retreat boasts three infinity pools – two of which are heated to 28 degress, while a third swim-up spa pool hits a soothing 32 degrees. Guests also have access to luxury amenities including a gymnasium, sauna and steam room before claiming a spot in one of the lush sun lounges surrounded by resort-style landscaping and greenery for increased privacy.

On the cocktail front, Isoletto’s drinks menu includes classic sips like margaritas and martinis, as well as creative signatures like the Fruit Tingle, all sitting alongside a selection of wine, beer and non-alcoholic beverages.

When the stomachs start to growl, guests can order snacks and sips directly from the comfort of their lounge. The chefs at The Star Brisbane are showcasing European-fusion with a classic Queensland twist, think — burrata and a Mooloolaba prawn cocktails, iconic club sandwiches and a mixture of Roman-style pizzas. Buono!
