The Weekend Edition has teamed up with our friends at Museum of Brisbane to give away two double passes to Crafty Party with Paper Hands.
Are you keen to get crafty after dark? On Thursday December 5, gather your pals and join together for a night of creativity at Museum of Brisbane for Crafty Party with Paper Hands! Led by Paper Hands artist Holly Neilson, you will be creating a bloom-tiful floral wall hanging, inspired by Rearranged: Art of the Flower.
The evening will begin with a glass of bubbles or soft drink on arrival (to really get those creative juices flowing!), then Holly will guide you through the 2.5-hour workshop, creating hand-stitched blooms inspired by her joyful practice. You’ll get to design and hand-sew your original piece, learning how to use visible embroidery techniques to recreate Holly’s style. Crafters will also get a 30-minute exhibition tour included in their ticket, for an extra injection of inspiration.
All abilities are welcome at this fun, inclusive night at the museum and all materials are provided, so all you have to do is turn up!
