Nestled beneath The Spot building in Broadbeach is where you will find Banksy Bar & Kitchen, the brand-new breakfast, brunch and lunch destination from the owners of Burleigh Heads’ much-loved Quest Coffee Roastery and Cafe Paul Rosenkranz and Alex Mears. Named after their adorable vizsla, who is often on-hand to greet customers with an enthusiastic tail wag, Banksy Bar & Kitchen’s menu is an avenue for Alex and Paul to share their love of food, in particular salads, with Gold Coast taste buds. Not a fan of salad? Fret not, there’s plenty of other tasty dishes that ranging from an Aussie granola bowl, which is kind of like an acai bowl but instead of using the Brazilian fruit, it uses seasonal Australian produce, to the hunger-smashing Banksy Big Breakfast that contains coffee-marinated bacon, two eggs, slow-roasted tomatoes, garlic mushrooms and halloumi on sourdough. For those who prefer savoury over sweet, Banksy’s savoury oats are a must-try with green scallions, spinach and a fried egg, and there’s a mouth-watering array of toasties that all feature a tasty Banksy twist. It goes without saying that the coffee is on-point, with Quest beans flowing through the machine. Oh, there’s a coffee window to the side for those who are keen to grab and go as well as those with pooches in tow.
