You’ll find two taste-bud tantalising combinations on the menu at Valéncia, Coolangatta’s brand-new Mexican restaurant that has opened along Marine Parade. The menu fuses Tex-Mex flavours with modern techniques and top-notch produce to create a people-pleasing menu that ranges from light bites such as totopos con guacamole and tortas, which are kind of like a Mexican-style sandwiches, burritos and tacos. When it comes to the drinkables, Valencia offers a succinct-yet-satisfying selection of cocktails including a seriously zingy jalapeno-infused margarita alongside a mojito, a Sailor Jerry-spiked pina colada.
