Aaron Chen – Funny Garden

Aaron Chen, star of Netflix hit series FISK and loyal assistant to Guy Montgommery on the ABC smash Guy Montgommery’s Spelling Bee has announced his 2025 Australian summer Funny Garden tour.

Born and raised in Sydney, Australia, Aaron has very quickly climbed the ranks of both the Australian and international comedy scene. Since his debut solo show in 2017 he’s performed in front of sold-out crowds to rave reviews. Most recently, Aaron was awarded the 2024 Melbourne International Comedy Festival’s People’s Choice Award for the most tickets sold during the festival. This nod adds to his wins of other sought-after Melbourne International Comedy Festival awards including Best Newcomer (2017), Director’s Choice (2019) and nomination for Best Show (2021).

Aaron is a regular on Australia’s #1 ranking TV shows Thank God You’re Here and Have You Been Paying Attention. His stand-up special, If It Weren’t Filmed, Nobody Would Believe was released on YouTube in September 2022 and has accumulated over 1.3 million views.
