The Strand at Coolangatta has something for everyone this silly season with Festive Fun, a calendar of Christmas-inspired events and activities. Starting Thursday November 28 and continuing throughout December, visitors can immerse themselves in the spirit of Christmas with a series of free entertainment, workshops, and fun. 

Mastery Schools Australia Show Choir – November 28 | 11:00 am to 12:40 pm
Kickstart the holiday season with a heartwarming choir performance that will fill the Centre with the sounds of classic Christmas carols. Mastery School Australia’s Gold Coast Show Choir combines all three Gold Coast campuses: Coolangatta, Varsity Lakes, and Southport into one heavenly harmony.

Wreath Making Workshops – December 7–8 | 10:00 am to 12:00 pm
Add a personal touch to your festive decor by crafting your own Christmas Wreath in these creative workshops. All necessary materials are provided and talent instructors will be on hand to guide you through the making of your masterpiece. Tickets are limited so get in fast! $5 booking fee required. Voice Weaver Choir – December 14 | 11:00–11:50 am
This vibrant community choir is based in Tweed Heads and Coolangatta and made up with members of all ages. Known for their beautiful a cappella harmonies, the Voice Weaver Choir bring a unique and soulful sound to every performance, spreading holiday cheer through music.
