Melbourne-born YOMG brings its stacked burgers and loaded frozen yoghurt to Pacific Fair

Fast-growing burger and frozen-yoghurt brand YOMG has taken another step in its Queensland expansion, opening a second Gold Coast store – and one of its largest venues yet. After dipping its toes in with a flagship frozen-yoghurt dispensary in Burleigh Heads, the YOMG team has unveiled an impressive new space at Pacific Fair, serving its full menu of delicious burgers, shakes and frozen yoghurt under one roof.

Hailing from Melbourne, the popular brand (pronounced “yo-em-gee”) gained a devoted following across Victoria before opening its first Queensland location at Westfield Chermside in 2024. Now, it’s the Gold Coast’s turn – a location that YOMG co-founder Justin Wilson says was a natural next step.

“We’ve been so lucky to replicate the loyal following that YOMG has in Victoria with GC residents and visitors alike, so now, we are excited to finally showcase the full YOMG offering of delicious burgers, shakes, and frozen yogurt to the Gold Coast,” said Julian.

The brand-new Pacific Fair location boasts the whole YOMG experience, which is headlined by a wide range of burgers – from hand-pressed Angus beef burgers to crispy Southern fried-chicken burgers and vibrant vegan burgers served on bright-red beetroot buns. There’s also a bunch of YOMG sides like fries with secret seasoning, loaded fries with various cheesy toppings, Southern fried chicken wings, salted potato cakes (well, potato scallops in Queensland but we’ll let that slide) as well as a menu of specials that rotates every two weeks.

If you appreciate a proper milkshake YOMG has you covered with classic shakes through to indulgent sips, like the vegan-friendly Biscoff Banana Bread Shake and the very-much-not-vegan-friendly Nutella Cheesecake Shake made with vanilla ice-cream and mascarpone cheese.

YOMG’s famed frozen yoghurt bar is packed with options, swirling icy flavours like chocolate fudge, acai, mango and salted pistachio. The jam-packed toppings bar is lined with fresh fruit, nuts, sweets like brownies and boba pearls, and plenty of decadent sauces for drizzling.
