This March, HOTA’s rooftop Exhibitionist Bar is helping you level up your cocktail skills with Masterclass March – a series of hands-on experiences led by renowned bar maestro Tom Angel, each designed to help you uncover the secrets to your favourite sips.
On Thursday March 13, the Tequila & Mezcal Masterclass will delve into the differences between the two bold spirits, before you learn to craft, shake and pour your own margarita and an Oaxaca old fashioned. Rum enthusiasts won’t want to miss the masterclass with Husk Distillers on Thursday March 20. Join Husk’s head distiller, Quentin Brival and Tom Angel as they guide you through the fascinating world of rum while you sample a variety of rum styles. Enjoy a cocktail crafted by the expert Exhibitionist Bar team, and then get hands-on to create your very own rum masterpiece.
The series wraps up on Thursday March 27 with the Whisky Masterclass featuring Glenlivet. The evening will take whisky fans and curious newcomers on a journey through the differences in age statements, while crafting unique cocktails that break the usual whisky boundaries. There will be interactive stations where you can build an old fashioned and shake your own whisky sour – and you’ll even get a whisky cocktail to take home.
