Summer is finally upon us – and Paradise Centre is set to serve a grand slam of fun to celebrate. From 30 December to January 20, the precinct will transform into a lively court of festivities to ring in this sun-kissed season. Game, Set, Match promises 21 days of table tennis face offs, live music and sweet giveaways. The best bit? All you need to do is go about your usual day out to join in on the fun. Each summer, Paradise Centre lives up to its namesake with a paradisiacal program of live events, giveaways and prizes. This year, Paradise Centre will be helping you have a smashing day out with a hefty line-up of tennis-tinged festivities.
Battle it out with a game of table tennis
There’s perhaps no better way to spend a balmy summer’s day than battling it out in a friendly match of table tennis – it’s a classic of your summer pool parties for a reason. Paradise Centre is bringing this surprisingly addictive and raucously fun game to its beachfront dining precinct. Watch the waves roll in and rally it out at the free-play table tennis tables. So you can really feel like a pro, a ball boy will be on site to keep the good times rolling (literally) after any too-powerful smashes or cheeky spin serves. With paddles and balls provided, all you’ll need to bring is your A-game.
Take a spin when you spend
A staple of Paradise Centre’s summers are its giveaways – letting you turn your summer retail therapy into a few sought-after prizes. This year, when you spend more than $50 in one transaction at participating stores, you get the chance to try your luck on Paradise Centre’s the giant prize wheel, located near Newsextra from 2:00–6:00 pm daily. Prizes include gift cards, pool inflatables and exclusive merch – all of which are up for grabs. Plus, don’t worry if you’re not feeling lucky, every spinner is a winner.

Shop with a show thanks to Paradise Centre’s live events
A trip to Paradise Centre just got even more entertaining. The precinct is hosting a flurry of live events this summer to help level up your day’s out. From Wednesday to Saturday, the beachfront dining precinct will be scored by live beats, courtesy of Paradise Centre’s resident DJ. From 2:00-6:00 pm, vibes will be at an all-time high whilst the precinct comes alive with the help of some live DJ spins. For something even more fun, roving stilt-walking tennis players will be serving up plenty of fun and photo ops every Saturday and Sunday from 3:00–6:00 pm.
Scream for ice-cream with this delicious Friday-only giveaway
No summer day out is complete without a spot of ice-cream. That’s why Paradise Centre is sweetening your Fridays in January with First Serve free giveaways at Gelato Messina. Kicking off on Friday January 3, Messina will be slinging free scoops of macadamia crunch, gianduia, mango sorbet, and strawberries and cream on a first-in, first-served basis. All you have to do is sign up to the Paradise Centre newsletter and grab your giveaway while stocks last. More details are to come for the remaining Fridays in January.
