There’s a multitude of exciting things to do and see on the Gold Coast from singing along to Thirsty Merc in concert to slurping some oysters at an Irish music festival, plus a plethora of markets to get your shop on. Immerse yourself in the spirit of Artisan Fayre: Tamborine Mountain’s much-loved event, Artisan Fayre, returns for its 11th year with another celebration of the region’s vibrant arts community. On November 17, from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, the Tamborine Mountain Showgrounds will be transformed with more than 120 exceptional artists showcasing their unique creations, as well as live music acts and gourmet food stalls. Expect handmade treasures and art aplenty as you kick off the start of festival season with an explosion of community.

Feel your body and your mind moved by the soundscapes of Bloom, featuring Byron Yeates: As the sun dips below the horizon on Saturday November 16, Pizzey Park will host an otherworldly convergence of sound and spirit. Uecalypt B2B Windchime DJ will open the night, followed by DJ Eudamonic B2B Will D. pushing the energy deeper. Miimau B2B Needles will elevate the rhythm, before Byron Yeates takes it to its final peak.

Hunt for pre-loved gems while embracing a pocket-friendly and planet-conscious way to shop. Whether you’re in search of everyday essentials or quirky one-of-a-kind finds, there’s something for everyone on the Garage Sale Trail.

Fossick for finds at the Antique, Collectable & Record Fair at Distillery Road Market: Collectors and vendors will fill the Distillery Road Market for a huge one-day event on Saturday November 16 with sellers from all over Australia gathering with thousands of unique antique and vintage collectables. Find showstopping pieces for your home or unique gifts for friends and family including antique jewellery, coins, stamps, vintage toys, vintage homewares, dolls and records.

Shop, swap and sell at Desert Digs Vintage Market: Head to Mo’s Desert Clubhouse and El Ranchero this Saturday when Desert Digs teams up with Scratch Jam Vinyl Swap & Sell for a vintage and vinyl rummage. From 12:00–4:00 pm you can thrift vintage goodies and flick through vinyl, to the smooth sounds from the turntable takeover. Because rummaging is hard work, there will be food trucks and cocktail bars to keep you fed and watered as you shop, swap and sell the afternoon away.

Slurp some seafood and soak in some live tunes at The Galway Seafood and Music Festival at D’Arcy Arms Irish Pub: This free-entry event promises to be a feast for the senses at the Gold Coast’s oldest Irish pub. This weekend the D’Arcy Arms Irish Pub will be showcasing live Irish music from 12:00–8:00pm alongside a delicious menu of succulent seafood including fresh Pacific oysters, whole South Australian tiger prawns, baked Moreton Bay bugs and more.
