Easter is just around the corner, and if you’re on the hunt for family-friendly events on the Gold Coast to fill your extra-long weekend, Southport Sharks has you covered with an action-packed four-day itinerary of festivities and fun. With everything from bottomless seafood feasts and kid-approved dessert stations to live music, Wonderland-themed shows and Easter egg hunts, there’s something for everybunny.
The Easter long-weekend action at Southport Sharks kicks off in the most indulgent of ways on Thursday April 17 with a belly-busting dinner at all-you-can-eat buffet Frenzy’s, complete with Easter-themed raffles. The feasting continues (it is Easter after all) on Good Friday April 18, with Frenzy’s open from 7:30–10:30 am for the ultimate Good Friday breakfast – think smashed avocado, crispy bacon, fried chicken and waffles, acai soft serve with toppings, cronuts, cinnamon-dusted French toast, fresh juice and bottomless coffee to fuel you for the action-packed weekend ahead.
Got the kids in tow? They’ll eat free at Frenzy’s buffet breakfast on Easter Saturday April 19. Or you can make it a night to remember and fill your dinner plates high at the hearty buffet before dancing the night away to Charlie Bravo on the Sharks Main Stage from 8:30 pm.
Don’t go too hard on the egg hunt at home – there’s a whole heap of Easter eating, fun and dancing to be had on Sunday April 20. Frenzy’s is dishing up its Eggstravaganza Buffet from 5:30 pm, featuring the likes of fresh Queensland prawns, mussels, roast lamb, pasta and pizzas, wok-fried delights and more. Kids and sweets lovers of all ages can cap off their feast at the dessert station, which will be brimming with cupcakes, a lolly bar, Easter-themed treats and unlimited soft-serve. And of course, the Easter bunny will be hopping in to say hello.
The Easter Sunday fun doesn’t stop there – kids can get their groove on at the Mad Hatters Easter Disco by the LOL Crew (an Easter-meets-Wonderland live show) from 5:00–7:00 pm. Plus, there will be an Easter egg hunt, face painting, and balloon twisting to keep the little ones entertained all night long. The Easter Sunday Eggstravaganza Buffet and Mad Hatters Disco is a pre-paid event, so be sure to book your spot online for a big night of festive fun and feasting for the whole family.
Or, why not make a weekend out of it? Mantra at Sharks is the ideal base for your Easter weekend on the Gold Coast – and there will be plenty of fun right on your doorstep!
