Brisbane’s biggest music trivia night Not On Your Rider returns for 2025 with a new location
How well do you know your music? If you know your Adeles, Beyonces and Chuck Berrys like you know your ABCs, or your record collection features everyone from Danzig and Earth, Wind & Fire to Flaming Lips and Gang Starr, then there’s a good chance you’d be a wiz at Brisbane’s biggest music quiz, Not On Your Rider. The bi-monthly music-themed trivia night is coming back for 2025, announcing new dates and a new location for its celebrity-packed shows.
Since its inception in 2019, Not On Your Rider has grown from a buzzy local trivia night into one of the best live shows in the country. Taking the casual charm of a classic pub trivia night and injecting it with the star-studded glitz of shows like Spicks & Specks and Never Mind The Buzzcocks, the home-grown sensation has taken Brisbane and Melbourne by storm. Each month features a different cast of celebrity participants, with previous guests including the likes of Robert Irwin, Wil Anderson, Adam Hills, Myf Warhurst and The Wiggles, to name a few.

Not On Your Rider, hosted as always by quizmaster Aimon Clark, is back for 2025, with dates announced for six Brisbane shows. Tickets are available now for the first two shows of the year on Thursday March 20 and Thursday May 15, with other shows set for July 10, September 11, October 30 (a Halloween Spooktacular) and Not On Your Rider’s Christmas show on December 18. In addition to these new dates, the Not On Your Rider team has announced that it has found a new home at Felons Barrel Hall, which means there’s extra space for more teams.
